FRANK DEAL

In addition to acting, Frank has directed, taught, and coached for the last 25 years.

 

Directing credits include: The Actors Theatre of Louisville (regular season, The Humana Festival, and The Molnar Festival), The Hangar Theatre (I Can’t Remember Tomorrow/Tennessee Williams), The Juilliard School (A Lie of the Mind), NYU Graduate Acting (Romeo and Juliet w/ Deb Hecht), NYU Undergraduate Drama (Sincerity Forever/Mac Wellman), etc.

 

Currently, he is in his 15th year as a faculty member at The Juilliard School’s Drama Division.

 

Previously, he has taught at The Yale School of Drama, SUNY Purchase Conservatory, and NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts (both Graduate and Undergraduate divisions.)

 

He has been a private coach for the last 20 years specializing in audition tutoring, graduate school preparation, and mentoring.

 

Past and present students have included: Billy Crudup, Debra Messing, Oscar Isaac, Margaret Qualley, Paul Castro Jr., etc.
